(Q) Is the same license key that I use for my subscription used for the "perpetual" license? Or is there a different license key. (Q) Does JetBrains support downloading of older versions? If so where do I go? (Q) How can I find what version is associated with my perpetual forever license? When I've installed and kept current I've uninstalled my "old" version", so my questions are: Īfter this date you will no longer able to use IntelliJ IDEA 2017.1.5Īfter closer reading I believe that whatever version was available at the time I purchased my subscription is the version I'll be able to use "forever". Your IntelliJ IDEA subscription expires on. Will I be able to use the software "forever" or not? So when I see this message in IntelliJ I'm confused. Whether you need an older version of IntelliJ IDEA for compatibility reasons, or you want to explore the new features of the latest release, you can find them all on this page. When purchasing an annual subscription, you will immediately get a perpetual fallback license for the exact version available at the time. In that email, there is a link for " What happens if I don't renew?" and that link says: I know my license going to expire later this month (3/13) and I've already received the emails from Jetbrains telling me my subscription will be renewed on 3/14. I currently have a license to IntelliJ Ultimate.
